Absorbers

This category involves characters who are capable of absorbing certain kinds of attacks to the point where said attacks are actually absorb into the character oneself.

One example includes a character from the Final Fantasy games who is capable of absorbing an elemental attack where it is converted into hit points. Another example being a character being able to absorb an incoming magical attack where the character oneself is able to absorb said attack where the individual gains energy from it.
